Installation
After you have downloaded the Tweet Pro installer package simply double click to execute and follow the direction to install.
Enter Your Key
After installation launch the Tweet Pro application by clicking on the Tweet Pro icon found on your desktop or Start –> All Programs –> Soxialize –> Tweet Pro. The first thing you will need to do in order to use the Tweet Pro software is copy and paste the key provided to you into the Soxialize.com Key section then click the Update Key button. Tweet Pro features will now activate and be ready for use.
Enter Twitter Accounts
After entering your key you should enter the information for you Twitter account(s) by simply entering the username and password of the account and clicking the Add button found in the Twitter Accounts section. Your recently added account will appear in the pulldown and be selected. If you wish to remove an account simply select it in the pulldown and click on the Delete button.
Another feature available is the ability to check how many Twitter API requests are left for a specific account. You can view the balance of your Twitter API requests at any time by selecting the account in the pulldown menu and clicking on the Check API button. This will query Twitter and will not count as an actual API request. The API request limit is imposed by Twitter and is not a limit created by Tweet Pro.
Searching
Now you are ready to start searching for Twitter users! Simply enter a keyword(s) the text field provided in the Twitter Search area and click the Search button. The datagrid to the right will be populated with up to 50 matches for you keyword. By default searches are conducted in Twitter Messages but you have an available option to search through Twitter Profiles using the radio toggle buttons.
Following
After you have results displayed you can choose which Twitter Users to follow by checking off the corresponding checkbox and clicking on the Follow Selected Users button.
The users you choose to follow will be added to a queue for processing. Twitter users are randomly added between one and two minutes apart by default. Using the numeric control you can increase the random time posibilties up to sixty minutes. Another great feature to use is the schedule time feature wich only allows Tweet Pro to follow during a certain range of hours during the day. To activate it simply adjust the start time and end time and check the box to activate.
If you should make a mistake and choose not to follow a person on your queue list simply select the user, right click on and select remove from the context menu.
The last thing to do is to start up the queue and let Tweet Pro get to work. If you should need to stop Tweet Pro simply click on the stop queue button or simply shut down Tweet Pro. When you start up again your queue list will still be in place and ready to pick up where you left off!
