But I think that changing the color scheme would be too weird and might throw off my users. Personally, I like how Google often changes their logo to match the season (or something of interest at the time). That way the site still has the same look, but it's fun to see how they added something new to the logo (They just changed the logo to "Goog11e" to show that it's their eleventh year anniversary).
